We got a call last night at around 10:00 from Everett and Cassie to let us know that they were headed to the hospital to round out their Easter day.......Cassie got the end of a shovel and then got the labor to start.......At 4:42 A.M. we got the call that it would be soon and to go to the hospital. It didn't take long to get dressed and get the new snow off the car and head down the driveway. With great timing on behalf of Everett's employer, he had today off from work. We got there and said hello to the Everett and Cassie and went to the waiting room with Cassie's father to wait and walk, and listen and wonder and wait and wait....didn't have to wait too long. Cassie had an epidural and things went well for her and at 6:18 this morning we heard the beautiful cries of our fourteenth grand baby entering the world. She is beautiful. She is 19 inches long and weighed in at 6 pounds and 14. 8 ounces with dark hair.....gorgeous tender soft charmer. We left to let Mommy, Daddy and Lexi rest and bond with each other and to get pics to the rest of the waiting people...Here they are........
