Sat, Sun., and Monday, May 21, 22 and 23rd

Saturday, May 21st

The day looks like it will be a warm and sunny change for us. I got Jeff’s birthday package mailed off to him. It is time to try out the new wagon and Nana Juli and I take turns pulling Hayli and Max around.

Steve and Tannis were busy catching up on chores that the rain delayed while we “played” with the kids. This is a long weekend for Canada since they are celebrating queen Victoria’s birthday and there is no school on Monday and there will be a parade in town to attend.
Max takes some time out to try riding the 4 wheeler that he has avoided since he over accelerated once and crashed. He seems to be more comfortable with it now.

Sunday, May 22nd
Steve and the kids took off to go fishing and use the night crawlers that we have been accumulating for the past few days. They came home with 5 trout. We are going to have a quieter day today and rest up a bit from all that has been going on.
Monday, May 23rd
Max and Steve took off early to go try their luck at fishing again…they scored big time! 10 new trout to add to the collection. I guess we will have trout for supper.

Today is the day for the parade and we watched the kids enjoy their first May Day parade. Jeff and Brandi have been to it before but this is the first time for the two youngest and they had a blast watching the fire trucks, old cars, clowns and such and gathered up about 4-5 pounds of candy that was thrown at them. I think it will last til Halloween at least.
